Hi! My name is Erin. I am a Spokane native and licensed clinical psychologist. I love working with people. My goal is to help people better understand themselves, support them as they make change, and create strong therapeutic relationships.

I specialize in assessment and intervention for children, adults, and families affected by neurodevelopmental disabilities, such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, learning disabilities, executive functioning challenges, and cognitive impairments, as well as related issues like anxiety and depression.

I graduated from the University of Washington in 2006. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Visual Arts. I earned my Doctorate of Psychology from Antioch University Seattle in 2011, completing concentrations in Art Therapy, as well as Child and Family Treatment and Assessment.

I received specialized training at Seattle Children's Hospital, the Seattle Children's Research Institute, the Autism Spectrum Treatment and Research (ASTAR) Center, the University of Washington Haring Center, and the Antioch University Community Clinic. I completed my internship and postdoctoral training at the University of Washington Haring Center, where I specialized in autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, anxiety-related disorders, learning disabilities, and other neurodiverse profiles.

My clinical experience includes early diagnostic assessments for children with developmental delays and autism spectrum disorders, comprehensive evaluations for developmental challenges or learning disabilities, individual coaching, intervention planning, consultation, and therapeutic services. I also have extensive experience working with parents, providing coaching to help them manage difficult behaviors and build effective skills. As a foster and adoptive parent, I have a unique expertise and experience working with individuals affected by trauma, attachment issues, and loss.

My therapeutic approach is individualized, combining elements of cognitive behavioral therapy, psychoeducation, skill-building, and insight-oriented therapy. I view therapy as a collaborative process and values working closely with parents to enhance their child's skills and overall well-being and enjoys working with young adults to help them reach their potential.

After living in Seattle for 15 years, I decided to begin fostering and knew I needed to be closer to family. I moved my practice to Spokane in 2017. I was able to foster and was eventually able to adopt my daughter in 2020. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time outside, creating art, interior design, and spending time with daughter, family and friends.
